The guided tour of Bratislava starts at the entrance to the castle, in front of the Slovak parliament. On the castle hill we will have a great view over the Danube, with Hungary and Austria in the distance.
Walking down into the old town, we visit the St.Martin cathedral where Habsburg kings were crowned. We walk the charming old traffic free streets, enter small squares, past the old city tower to the former Primate palace where the treaty of Pressburg was signed in 1805.
The tour ends on the romantic promenade in front of the Slovak historical opera and the Philharmonics.
You will learn where lived Bratislava executioner and where he performed the executions, where the first time in Bratislava was a concert of Mozart and Liszt, where was a theatre, whose performances were attended by Maria Theresa, where is located native house of music composer Hummel and other attractions.
